The Riverside Mission Belles

The Riverside Mission Belles, a three part women's chorus, is still going strong after more than 70 years. The group began in the 1930's as the PTA Mother Singers, who in those days, sang for every school in town. A few decades later the name changed to the PTA Choristers, and later, to the Riverside Mission Belles.

Riverside Mission Belles seek Singers for Chorus

Riverside Mission Belles is seeking additional Sopranos, Second Sopranos, and Altos for our women's chorus. We sing a variety of music for clubs and groups of all kinds at local meetings, celebrations, and seasonal events.

NO AUDITION is necessary; however, an ability to learn music is a must. The ability to read music is desirable, but not required.

California Women's Chorus

The Riverside Mission Belles were instrumental in founding, and now belongs to the California Women's Chorus (CWC), a non-profit umbrella organization, which consists of 15 or more similar groups around the state. Each year a themed convention is held the last weekend in April, where all 300 women join in singing the same songs together at a concert open to the public. Here several young musicians, who will receive Vocal Music Awards from CWC, perform.

Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the precautions being taken by authorities worldwide to manage this pandemic, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the 51st Annual CWC Convention and Vocal Music Award Concert in Orange, CA this May.

The 51st Annual CWC Vocal Music Award Concert - Women in Song takes place at 2pm on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Orange, CA. A full chorus concert will perform for the public starting at 2pm. The concert will include performances by this year's Vocal Music Award winners.
